Arsenal are reportedly confident of securing the services of Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos on loan.
The Gunners have been strongly linked with a move for the 22-year-old, who is not said to be in the plans of Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane for the 2019-20 campaign.
Zidane is believed to be keen to sell the midfielder on a permanent deal this summer, but Madrid president Florentino Perez is only prepared to sanction a loan exit.
According to The Mirror, despite interest from Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal are confident of getting a deal over the line, having held in-depth talks with both Madrid and the Spaniard's advisors.
Ceballos was used on 34 occasions by Los Blancos during the 2018-19 campaign, contributing three goals and two assists in the process.
The former Real Betis youngster struggled for action in the latter stages of the season, though, featuring in just one of the club's final nine La Liga matches.
The Gunners - currently in the United States preparing for the new campaign - have also reportedly joined the race for Juventus teenager Moise Kean.
