Arsenal have reportedly told Napoli that they must make a decision regarding the future of David Ospina before the end of the week.
The Colombia international has spent the season on loan at the Serie A outfit, making a total of 24 appearances in all competitions.
Ospina was one outing short of Napoli being obligated to sign him for £3.1m, although there allegedly remains an interest in bringing in the goalkeeper on a permanent basis.
However, The Sun claims that Arsenal have encouraged the Italian club to resolve whether they intend to pay the desired fee by Saturday.
The report suggests that the Gunners are aware of other clubs who wish to pay the same figure at a time when Napoli may be hoping to lower the 30-year-old's valuation.
Ospina has just one year left on his contract at the Emirates Stadium.
