Arsenal will reportedly have to offer Dani Alves a contract worth £200,000 a week if they wish to sign the experienced defender on a free transfer ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.
Alves, who has won a staggering 40 trophies at club and international level, is available on a free this summer following his departure from Paris Saint-Germain.
Arsenal have been strongly linked with a move for the 36-year-old, while Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City are also said to be interested in a swoop ahead of the new season.
According to The Sun, the Brazil international is prepared to take a pay cut to move to the Emirates Stadium, but the Gunners would still have to come up with a £200,000-a-week contract offer in order to sign him.
In the latter stages of 2018, Alves revealed that he was desperate to play in the Premier League before hanging up his boots.
