Arsenal have reportedly turned down the opportunity to sign Fulham striker Dimitar Berbatov.
Gunners manager Arsene Wenger has been linked with a move for the 33-year-old in recent weeks, with the player said to be unhappy at Craven Cottage.
However, Arsenal have rejected the chance to purchase the frontman for a fee of £1m, according to The Metro.
It is thought that Wenger was not convinced that Berbatov could still perform at the highest level.
The report goes on to say that the Bulgarian has agreed terms with French side Monaco.
