Bayern Munich are reportedly ready to do battle with Arsenal for the signature of Inter Milan defender Achraf Hakimi.
With Hector Bellerin seemingly set to seek pastures new this summer, Arsenal are thought to have identified Hakimi as an ideal target for the right-back spot.
The former Real Madrid man has played a starring role on the right-hand side for recently-crowned Serie A champions Inter - scoring seven goals and assisting seven more in 33 league appearances this term.
Now, German journalist Manuel Bonke has claimed that incoming Bayern manager Julian Nagelsmann has identified Hakimi as an ideal signing, but a £50m asking price could prove problematic for both Bayern and Arsenal.
Furthermore, Hakimi has previously insisted that he is happy at Inter Milan, where he is under contract until 2025 after arriving from Real Madrid last summer.
Moves for Brighton & Hove Albion's Tariq Lamptey and Norwich City's Max Aarons have also been mooted as Arsenal search for a new right-back, with a recent report claiming that the Gunners are confident of striking a deal for the latter.
