Arsenal could sign Wigan Athletic forward Hugo Rodallega as a replacement for the outgoing Marouane Chamakh in the January transfer window.
Chamakh, who has been limited in his appearances for the Gunners this season, has been linked with a move to France.
Rodallega, who was tracked by Arsenal over the summer, could move the other way in a £5m deal, according to Metro.
The Colombian has one year left on his contract at the DW Stadium.
