CSKA Moscow are holding contract talks with striker Seydou Doumbia, pouring cold water on hopes of the Ivory Coast international joining a Premier League side in the near future.
The 26-year-old, whose current deal expires in 2016, has scored nine goals in 14 games this season for the Russian outfit, including three against Manchester City in the Champions League.
Doumbia's agent Jean Bernard Beytrison is quoted by the Daily Star as saying: "We are currently in negotiations over a new contract.
"There is plenty of interest in Seydou from England plus clubs in Spain, Germany and Italy. He is a goalscorer and there aren't many of them around.
"However, he is contracted to CSKA and clubs will have to pay their fee."
Doumbia was previously said to be available for £15m in January, prompting reported interest from Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur.
