Reports have suggested that Fulham manager Martin Jol is ready to bid for Arsenal forward Andrey Arshavin.
The Russian has fallen out of favour at the Emirates Stadium and spent the second part of last season on loan at Zenit St Petersburg.
Zenit reportedly want Arshavin to make it clear that he wants a move to Russia but sources close to the 31-year-old have suggested that he would prefer to stay at Arsenal.
However, the Evening Standard has reported that Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is keen to sell the forward before the end of the current transfer window and that Fulham could be preparing a bid.
Despite Fulham's interest, Arshavin's wage demands - currently £80k-a-week at Arsenal - could prove to be a stumbling block to any transfer.
