Arsenal have reportedly decided to allow Reiss Nelson to sign a season-long loan deal with Hoffenheim.
Nelson is highly regarded at Arsenal, but the 18-year-old is keen to secure regular first-team football and has less than a year remaining on his contract.
According to The Mirror, a compromise has been reached, with Nelson agreeing to pen a new deal and go out on loan for the remainder of the current campaign.
Nelson has made a total of 16 appearances in all competitions, but the teenager is unlikely to be given much time by new boss Unai Emery at this stage of his career.
That has seemingly resulted in an agreement being struck with Hoffenheim, who have been looking for a new wideman after the exit of Serge Gnabry.
