Former Arsenal striker Jay Simpson has signed a lucrative two-year contract with Thailand Premier League side Buriram United.
Simpson has been searching for a new club since leaving Hull City at the end of last season, with Tigers boss Steve Bruce deeming the forward surplus to requirements.
The 24-year-old turned down a move to Turkish club Gaziantepspor last month but has now agreed terms with Buriram, who are unbeaten in the Thai top flight so far this season.
Simpson underwent a medical earlier today and has signed a two-year deal with Buriram, where he will reportedly be paid around £40,000-a-week.
If the move proves successful, then Buriram holds an option for a third season in the contract.
