Arsenal are preparing a shock bid for Barcelona's first-choice goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, according to a report.
The 25-year-old has been trusted between the sticks for the Catalan giants since Claudio Bravo's departure to Manchester City last year, featuring 62 times in all competitions since the start of 2016-17.
Ter Stegen was also hailed for his recent 'match-winning display' against Athletic Bilbao, underlining his importance to the club, but Spanish outlet Don Balon suggests that the Gunners are lining up a big-money offer.
Arsenal are said to be after a new keeper for next season and see the Germany international as their ideal target.
Ex-Borussia Monchengladbach stopper Ter Stegen agreed fresh terms at Camp Nou in May to keep him under contract until the summer of 2021.
