Arsenal have made an approach to sign Swansea City ace Ki Sung-yueng, according to reports.
The Gunners are thought to be in the market for a centre midfielder and were reported to be keen on Southampton's Morgan Schneiderlin earlier this month.
However, manager Arsene Wenger has turned his attention toward the South Korea international and has already made enquiries, according to Sky Sports News.
Francis Coquelin has emerged into a fans' favourite in his breakthrough season at the Emirates, but Wenger is keen on providing competition for him next term.
Ki, who netted eight Premier League goals for the Swans during the 2014-15 campaign, is contracted to the club until 2018.
