Nottingham Forest have reportedly come to an agreement with Arsenal over a deal for Nuno Tavares.

The 23-year-old is free to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer, and there has been a host of speculation surrounding his future over the last few weeks.

Forest have recently emerged as the favourites for the full-back, and according to the Daily Mail, the Reds have now come to an agreement with Arsenal over a deal.

The report claims that Tavares is set to move on loan to Steve Cooper's side for the 2023-24 campaign, while there will be the option to make the move permanent for around £12m next summer.

Forest are expected to pay a fee in the region of £1.2m to take Tavares on loan.

The former Portugal Under-21s international spent last season on loan with Marseille, making 39 appearances for the French outfit.

The defender played 28 times for Arsenal during the 2021-22 campaign, including 22 outings in the Premier League, but he is not in the thoughts of Gunners head coach Mikel Arteta.

Elsewhere, Fulham are reportedly showing an interest in Everton attacker Alex Iwobi.

The 27-year-old's future has been called into question over the last few weeks, with his contract at Goodison Park due to expire next June.

Iwobi was involved in Everton's first two matches of the new Premier League season against Fulham and Aston Villa, but he missed the defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend through injury.

According to the Daily Mail, Fulham are keen on a deal for the Nigeria international, with Marco Silva's side looking to boost their attacking unit following Aleksandar Mitrovic's departure.

The report claims that Everton are likely to be open for offers for Iwobi in the latter stages of the market due to his contract situation.

The attacker has made 140 appearances for the Toffees since arriving from Arsenal in 2019.

Meanwhile, according to Foot Mercato, Burnley are interested in signing AC Milan attacker Divock Origi.

The 28-year-old is free to leave San Siro before the end of the transfer window, and a number of clubs have been credited with an interest in his services over the last few weeks.

Origi is said to be training away from the rest of his teammates, with his representatives currently in discussions with a host of teams over a transfer over the next few days.

Burnley are said to be firmly in the race for the Belgium international, with Clarets head coach Vincent Kompany believed to be an admirer of his talents.

Origi only scored twice in 36 appearances for Milan during the 2022-23 campaign.

The versatile attacker managed 41 goals in 175 appearances during his time at Liverpool, though, proving to be a valuable squad member for the Reds.

Burnley's main competition for the Premier League and Champions League winner is said to be arriving from Italian sides Udinese, Bologna and Torino. body check tags ::
