Monaco coach Claudio Ranieri has insisted that his side are not getting carried away despite sitting at the top of the Ligue 1 table.
The Monte Carlo outfit spent over £130m during the summer transfer window and maintained their position at the head of the division following Sunday's 1-1 draw at champions Paris Saint-Germain.
However, Ranieri is adamant that Monaco are only focused on getting a win against Bastia on Wednesday night.
"We are taking each game one by one and obviously we will try to get a result against Bastia," Ranieri told reporters. "This game in Ligue 1 is vital for us and we can stay top with a win.
"It is very important for us to keep up our good form. Now the big decision for me is to choose the best lineup for Wednesday so I can get a win.
"The season is very long and the title is not won after just a few games. For us each game is a discovery."
