Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood has tipped youngster Jack Grealish to develop into one of football's finest following his performance against Liverpool today.
The 19-year-old enhanced his burgeoning reputation in this afternoon's 2-1 FA Cup semi-final upset over the Reds at Wembley with a dazzling display.
The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international came off on 84 minutes to a standing ovation by the Villa fans, and Sherwood admits to being excited over his potential.
"He could be right up there amongst the best of them," Sherwood told BT Sport. "The ball is a friend of his. "He's Aston Villa through and through. He lives a couple of miles away from the ground.
"He just wants to play for Aston Villa and I want to give him the platform to do that because he has earned the right."
Goals from Christian Benteke and Fabian Delph helped cancel out Philippe Coutinho's opener and set up a final date with Arsenal on May 30.
