Stoke City striker Peter Crouch has credited Tim Sherwood with Christian Benteke's turnaround in form at Aston Villa.
The Belgian striker has scored eight in his last six games and netted the winning goal as the Villans beat Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 on Saturday.
"I think it's just belief. You can see with Benteke he's playing with a spring in his step and he looks like a totally different player," Crouch told Sky Sports News.
"It's just someone like Tim who's put his arm around him and told him he can be as good as he was and that's he's going to be the main man.
"I think that's all he said and [Benteke] is reaping the benefits of that."
The win over Spurs leaves Sherwood's side 15th in the Premier League.
