Aston Villa captain Stiliyan Petrov is eager for his teammates to bounce back from Sunday's 2-0 defeat to Liverpool.
Next up for Villa is a home match against Arsene Wenger's Arsenal tomorrow evening and Petrov is keen for his side to improve on their weekend showing.
"No-one likes to lose, especially me. I'm a really bad loser and other players in the team are as well," the Bulgarian told the club's official website. "We know against Liverpool that we were really poor and we have to raise our game against Arsenal.
"It is up to us to raise our game in the next match. If we beat Arsenal, this result against Liverpool will be forgotten.
"It is up to make the fans happy because against Liverpool I don't think they were."
Villa are currently tenth in the Premier League table, while opponents Arsenal are fifth.
