Aston Villa have reportedly included Burnley boss Sean Dyche in their shortlist of potential replacements for manager Remi Garde.
The Midlands outfit are expected to make changes to the coaching setup in the closing stages of a horrid season that has left them destined for the Championship.
The Villans are currently at the bottom of the Premier League table, 12 points from safety with seven games left to play.
According to The Mirror, Garde will be sacked once a replacement is found, and the club are hopeful that they can convince Dyche to join even if he guides Burnley back to the top flight.
The Clarets have a four-point lead at the summit of the Championship and are unbeaten in their last 15 league fixtures.
Former Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson, who has been out of work since getting sacked by the Foxes in June, is also believed to be a contender for the job.
