Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood has insisted that he is solely focused on football matters and not the recent crowd trouble that marred his side's FA Cup quarter-final win.
Villa and West Bromwich Albion are awaiting the outcome of an FA investigation after a number of fans invaded the pitch following the 2-0 victory for Villa last Saturday.
Seventeen people were arrested by West Midlands police for committing a number of public order offences.
When asked about the incident in today's press conference, Sherwood said: "It didn't take the shine off for me and the players. We just concentrate on the football side and other people can deal with the aftermath.
"I haven't looked into it too much. All I'm concentrating on is focusing the boys on the next one which is Sunderland away."
After the game, Villa's Fabian Delph claimed that he was bitten by a pitch invader.
