Atalanta BC manager Stefano Colantuono has claimed that his side have enjoyed a "fantastic" season.
The Nerazzurri ended their campaign with a 2-1 defeat against Catania, but Colantuono says that he is pleased at how they have performed, particularly against the bigger clubs.
"Next season we will have a more competitive squad," Colantuono told Sky Sport Italia.
"We've had a fantastic season whilst even beating the big teams and next season the president and I are planning to build a more competitive team."
Atalanta have finished the season in 11th place in the Serie A table.
