Maximiliano Moralez scored 18 minutes from time to seal all three points for Atalanta during their home match against Chievo this evening.

The visitors had the better of the opening 45 minutes, but they were unable to breach the home side's net.

Atalanta posed more of an attacking threat after the restart and they were rewarded in the 78th minute when Ezequiel Schelotto found Maximiliano Moralez inside the area and the Argentine scored from close range.

Giacomo Bonaventura went close to extending the home team's lead in stoppage time but he looped his header over the bar.
