Athletic Bilbao forward Kike Sola has called on his side to remain focused as they attempt to secure Champions League football in the second part of the season.
The Basque outfit currently sit fourth in the table after 17 matches, four points clear of nearest challenges Real Sociedad, who finished fourth last season.
"We have to pick up the pace. Everyone at the club is demanding of that. But we feel strong, we feel like we can do well," he told reporters at a press conference.
"We know there's a lot of games to go, but we can only think about the next one. We have to go game-by-game if we want to achieve our goals.
"It can, and I think it will be, a good year for us. The supporters have been spectacular – not only on the pitch but also on the street. Their enthusiasm is greatly appreciated."
Sola's season has been hampered by a series of injury problems thus far.
