Athletic Bilbao boss Ernesto Valverde has admitted that his team are "obliged" to beat Getafe in their La Liga clash on Sunday afternoon.
Bilbao overcame Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup at the start of the campaign, but they have lost both of their first two La Liga matches this term.
Valverde has refused to play down the importance of Sunday's match, claiming that "there's already a lot at stake" at this stage of the campaign.
"I don't know if it's out of anxiety or need, but we're obliged to win either way," he told reporters.
"The only way we can rid ourselves of any anxiety is by beating another team in the same situation as us. It's only the third matchday, but there's already a lot at stake."
Bilbao currently sit bottom of Spain's top flight on zero points.
