Manchester City are reportedly nearing a deal for Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente.
The 27-year-old has been linked to a number of clubs across Europe following his impressive performances for Bilbao in this season's Europa League.
Premier League champions City met the forward's agent back in April to establish their interest, according to Spanish newspaper AS.
They are now ready to meet the €36m (£28m) buy-out clause in the Spanish international's contract.
