Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann has admitted that his Spanish team's dressing room was "silent" after Saturday's defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League final.
The two rivals played out a 1-1 draw in 120 minutes of action, before Real Madrid triumphed 5-3 on penalties to claim their second European Cup in three seasons.
Griezmann struck a penalty against the crossbar in Milan during normal time, but has claimed that he is "not sorry" having "missed by centimetres".
"[Diego Simeone] didn't say much. The truth is that no-one wanted to talk. We were all silent. These are difficult times, but you have to forget them as quickly as possible," Griezmann told reporters. "I'm not sorry [for the penalty miss]. I put it where I wanted to and missed by centimetres."
Griezmann will represent France in the European Championships this summer.
