Olympiacos coach Michel has admitted that his team endured a "very tough loss" after a 4-0 Champions League defeat against Atletico Madrid.
The Greek side were second best for much of the Group A encounter at the Vicente Calderon, and despite still being in with a shout of reaching the knockout phase, Michel believes that their group rivals may boast greater quality.
He is quoted by AS as saying: "It's a very tough loss. We had a bad night and the responsibility is mine.
"This result and the sensations of Atletico speaks of the difficulty of the group and our merits. We can have great enthusiasm but Juventus and Atletico are on another level.
"We had a bad day. I can't ask any more from my players. Perhaps there have been situations that we couldn't control from the beginning."
Olympiacos need to beat Malmo and hope Juventus are beaten by Atletico, if they are to qualify for the last 16 of the competition.
