Osasuna have taken a surprise 3-0 lead into the halfway stage of their La Liga encounter with title-chasing Atletico Madrid this evening.
It was Atletico who had the first opening of the match when Diego seized upon a poor clearance from Lolo, only to blaze his effort high and wide of the goal.
The hosts were ahead just two minutes later when Alvaro Cejudo was left unmarked from a corner to drill the ball past Thibaut Courtois and into the back of the net.
The hosts threatened again shortly afterwards, as Roberto Torres delivered a dangerous ball into the box that Mario Suarez had to clear with Oriol Riera waiting.
It was 2-0 in the 21st minute when Emiliano Armenteros found some space outside the box before firing a fine effort into the top corner.
Atletico had a decent chance to pull one back just after the half-hour mark, but an unmarked Suarez failed to make contact with Gabi's cross.
Things got worse for the visitors in the closing minutes of the half as Osasuna extended their lead even further, Torres nodding in Damia's cross from close range.
