Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has warned his side to be wary of the threat that Osasuna could pose when the sides meet this evening in La Liga.

Osasuna have lost just two of their last seven fixtures at home, while Atletico will be looking to go joint top of La Liga with Real Madrid with a win.

Simeone has insisted that it will be a tough test for his side as Osasuna need a win too, and urged his players to go out and play with confidence.

"It will be a difficult game against a rival who will feel comfortable on their own pitch, with an intense pace," Simeone told reporters.

"We have to get on to the pitch with confidence because they will be a strong opponent with great enthusiasm and creativity.

"They also need a win, like us. I think that will make a fun game."

Atletico currently sit in third place in La Liga.
