Augsburg and Hertha Berlin have played out a 0-0 draw in the Bundesliga on Saturday afternoon in a typical end-of-season contest.
There was a tense start to the game with chances few and far between in the opening 10 minutes, with the first real effort on goal a Sebastian Langkamp header that he could only direct over the bar.
The chance seemed to spur the away team into life and they had another effort on 23 minutes through Hajime Hosogai, but his shot from range was kept out by Marvin Hitz.
Two chances fell the way of the visitors, put Sandro Wagner shot straight at Hitz before Marcel Ndjeng fired wide as Hosogai was starting to pull the strings.
Tolga Cigerci was next to test Hitz, but he too was kept out as the home goalkeeper earned his side a share of the points.
