Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Barcelona on Tuesday, February 2.

The January transfer window has now closed, leaving Barcelona to begin looking forward to the summer for their next round of recruitment.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer news from the Camp Nou.

Tuesday morning's Barcelona transfer talk news roundup:

Joan Laporta: 'Lionel Messi could stay stay at Barcelona'

Presidential candidate Joan Laporta has suggested that Lionel Messi could remain at Barcelona past the end of the season.

Messi is expected to end his long-term association with the Catalan giants when his contract expires in the summer.

Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are said to be interested in the 33-year-old, who saw the terms of his £492m contract leaked to a Spanish newspaper over the weekend.

However, Laporta has claimed that the Argentina international could still pen a fresh deal at Camp Nou over the coming months.

Speaking to RAC1, Laporta said: "I have indications that he feels good at Barcelona and that he wants to stay here."

On the details of Messi's contract, he added: "Messi generates more revenue than the money he costs. We have carried out a study that shows that a third of what the club makes comes from him."

Laporta previously spent time as Barcelona's president between 2003 and 2010, a period which saw Messi make his first-team debut as a 17-year-old.

Neymar confirms desire to stay at Paris Saint-Germain with Kylian Mbappe

Neymar has confirmed that he would like to extend his contract and stay with French champions Paris Saint-Germain and hopes Kylian Mbappe will do the same.

The Brazilian has been in talks with the club for a while over an extension of his contract, which is currently due to expire next year.

Despite several ups and downs with PSG, including a transfer request in 2019 and fans requesting him to leave, Neymar hopes to put the past behind him and excel under new manager Mauricio Pochettino alongside Kylian Mbappe.

"I am very happy today. I feel happy. Things have changed a lot, I can't exactly explain why - if it's just me, or something else has changed," the 28-year-old told TF1.

"But today, I am feeling good. I have adapted. I feel calmer and I'm very happy here. I want to stay at PSG, and I hope Kylian will stay too. Of course, that is the wish of every PSG supporter.

"We want PSG to be a great team, and I want to continue doing what I've done every day in Paris - play football and be happy. That is the most important thing."

Neymar and Mbappe have excelled once again in the French capital this campaign, contributing to 43 goals so far for PSG.
