Sports Mole rounds up all of Barcelona's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Wednesday's Champions League clash with Dynamo Kiev.
Sports Mole

Barcelona will seek to record their first win and first goals of the 2021-22 Champions League campaign when they play host to Dynamo Kiev on Wednesday evening.

Ronald Koeman's side have suffered back-to-back 3-0 defeats to Bayern Munich and Benfica so far, which has left them rock bottom of the rankings in Group E.

However, the Catalan giants put three goals past Valencia in their weekend La Liga clash, with Memphis Depay, Ansu Fati and Philippe Coutinho netting in a 3-1 success.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Barcelona's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash.

Ousmane Dembele

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: October 20 (vs. Dynamo Kiev)

There was optimism that Ousmane Dembele would be able to make his comeback from a knee injury against Valencia at the weekend, but the Frenchman did not make the cut and remains doubtful for this contest.

Martin Braithwaite

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Martin Braithwaite is on the long road back from knee surgery and is facing at least another two months on the sidelines.

Pedri

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: Unknown

Teenage starlet Pedri is working his way back from a thigh problem sustained before the international break, and the 18-year-old is set to remain on the sidelines for this game.

Ronald Araujo

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Ronald Araujo sustained a hamstring injury during the October international break and is not expected back in action until the end of the month at the earliest.

BARCELONA'S SUSPENSION LIST

Eric Garcia

Return date: October 24 (vs Real Madrid)

Eric Garcia received his marching orders for two bookable offences in the 87th minute against Benfica and will serve a one-match suspension this week.
