Barcelona defender Marlon has missed his club's flight to England ahead of their Champions League fixture with Manchester City.
A spate of injuries has resulted in the 21-year-old being pushed up the pecking order at Camp Nou and he was scheduled to be part of the travelling party which made the journey to the North-West.
However, he was forced to remain in Spain on Monday morning after forgetting his passport for what would have been his first away trip with the senior side.
There is still time for the Brazilian to link up with the squad but it remains unclear whether he will be among the substitutes at the Etihad Stadium.
Barcelona are already without defensive trio Gerard Pique, Jordi Alba and Jeremy Mathieu.
