Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has admitted that he and his teammates were outplayed in their 4-0 Champions League semi-final defeat to Bayern Munich.
Goals from Arjen Robben and Mario Gomez along with a brace from Thomas Muller have given Jupp Heynckes's side a huge advantage going into the second-leg.
"They gave us a thrashing," Pique told Sky Sports News. "We will try to turn it around in the return leg and put in a good performance for the fans.
"They were better and faster than us. There is no point talking about the referee, there is no excuse."
The return leg takes place next Wednesday at Camp Nou.
