Barcelona are on the brink of making the knockout stage of the Champions League following a 3-0 win over BATE Borisov.

Neymar (2) and Luis Suarez scored the goals for the Catalan outfit, who top Group E on 10 points with two games remaining.

BATE, meanwhile, currently sit bottom of the section, but they are just two points off second-placed Roma.

Here, Sports Mole takes a closer look at how each player performed in Barcelona.

BARCELONA

Goal

Marc-Andre ter Stegen: Only really had a couple of saves to make, but was calm between the sticks and showed his ability on the ball with a piece of skill out wide in the first half of action. (6/10)

Defence

Dani Alves: Typically energetic performance from the Brazilian, who delivered a number of excellent crosses from a wide area and was heavily involved. Did not have much defending to do. (7/10)

Javier Mascherano: Comfortable evening for the Argentine, who never really needed to get out of second gear. Was not tested physically and rarely troubled by any form of pace on the night. (7/10)

Thomas Vermaelen: Given a spot in the XI after returning from injury and the Belgian had a solid game in central defence. Displayed his ability on the ball with a number of passes into midfield. (7/10)

Adriano: Extremely fortunate not to concede a penalty early in the second period after bundling into Ihar Stasevic. Hit the post late in the first half following an excellent pass from Neymar. (6/10)

Midfield

Sergio Busquets: Once again had a strong game in the middle of the park. Did not need to perform to his best level, but it was still a classy and elegant display from the brilliant Spaniard. (7/10)

Ivan Rakitic: Scored both goals in the reverse match last month, but his night in Barcelona lasted just 20 minutes after picking up a calf strain. The Croatian's place was taken by Munir El Haddadi. (6/10)

Sergi Roberto: Could not repeat his heroics from the weekend, but the ever-improving Spaniard had another solid game in the middle of the park. Smashed the side netting with an effort late on. (7/10)

Attack

Andres Iniesta: Operating in a more advanced position, it was a super performance from the Spaniard, who never really needed to get out of second gear. Still such a class operator for his team. (7/10)

Luis Suarez: Another super performance from the striker, who scored Barcelona's second before setting up Neymar for the Brazilian's second late on. BATE just could not live with his movement. (9/10)

Neymar: Continued his excellent form with a brace in Barcelona. Opened the scoring from the penalty spot, before adding a second late on. Also set up Suarez for his goal during another wonderful display. (9/10)

Substitutes

Munir El Haddadi: Was called into action in the 20th minute and did well to pick up the pace of the game. Won Barcelona's penalty which Neymar converted and caused problems with his movement. (7/10)

Marc Bartra: Was introduced to shore up the defence, but actually came close on at least three occasions to adding to the scoring. Certainly a defender capable of scoring the odd goal. (7/10)

Gerard Gumbau: Currently in favour with Luis Enrique and was given the final 15 minutes of action after Busquets was given a rest. Used the ball intelligently in the middle of the park. (6/10)

BATE

Goal

Syarhey Chernik: Shipped three goals, but was undoubtedly his team's best player on the night. Made some excellent saves throughout the contest and can be pleased with his own performance. (7/10)

Defence

Dzyanis Polyakov: Tasked with going head-to-head with Neymar and the 24-year-old is not the only player that has struggled against the Brazilian this season. Had a tough evening in Barcelona. (6/10)

Vital Gaiduchik: Marshalled his back four during the early stages and was prepared to put his foot on the ball when possible. However, ultimately found Neymar and Suarez too hot to handle. (6/10)

Nemanja Milunovic: Made some excellent blocks as BATE frustrated Barcelona in the opening 30 minutes, but found it difficult to contain the hosts when they got into their groove. (6/10)

Filip Mladenovic: Conceded a first-half penalty after bringing Munir to the ground, but it was a slightly harsh decision. Used his pace to help BATE force the issue early in the second period. (6/10)

Midfield

Alyaksandr Volodko: Looked neat and tidy when he had possession, but that was not a common occurrence for the captain. Worked hard, however, before being replaced late on. (6/10)

Yevgeniy Yablonski: Not many 20-year-olds are given the chance to play against Barcelona and all things considered, the midfielder can be pleased with what was a mature performance. (6/10)

Mikhail Gordeichuk: Had a half-chance early in the second period, but his header was always comfortable for Ter Stegen. Could not prevent Barcelona from dominating matters in the middle of the park. (6/10)

Attack

Ihar Stasevich: Certainly BATE's best outfield player on the night. Came close on a couple of occasions and was also unfortunate not to win a penalty early in the second half after contact from Adriano. (7/10)

Dzmitry Mozolevski: Did his best to run the line for BATE, but it was a very tough job for the central striker. Hardly had any service and was replaced by Aleksandr Hleb on the hour mark at Camp Nou. (6/10)

Maksim Volodko: Was once again deployed in an advanced position, but it was a tough game for the 22-year-old, who had an energetic Alves to deal with. Was replaced in BATE's final change late on. (5/10)

Substitutes

Aleksandr Hleb: Was given an excellent reception on his return to Barcelona. However, the experienced midfielder saw little of the ball during his 30-mintue appearance at Camp Nou. (6/10)

Nemanja Nikolic: Introduced in the 68th minute to provide more invention going forward, but his only real contribution was a poor challenge on Suarez, which brought a yellow card. (6/10)

Aleksei Rios: Showed some nice touches after being introduced in the 78th minute, but could not prevent his team from falling 3-0 behind. Big ask to make an impression at that stage of the match. (6/10)
