Barcelona have been handed a boost ahead of Sunday's El Clasico after Jordi Alba made his return to training.
Earlier this month, Alba sustained an adductor injury during the La Liga fixture with Getafe, which has subsequently led to the left-back missing two matches.
Junior Firpo has deputised in the Spaniard's place and remains the favourite to get the nod for the showdown with Real Madrid at the weekend.
However, Alba was able to come through a training session on Friday, increasing his chances of being included in the next 18-man squad.
The development is a timely boost for boss Quique Setien, who has had to contend with a number of injuries to first-team players since his arrival at Camp Nou.
