Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao have headed into half time level following a goalless first half at Camp Nou in La Liga this afternoon.
The hosts came close to breaking the deadlock inside the opening 10 minutes when Pedro tried to turn the ball in from a Martin Montoya cross, but Gorka Iraizoz was on hand to make the save.
Barcelona dominated the possession but Bilbao threatened when they had the ball, with Aritz Arduriz running at the Barcelona defence, but the home sides managed to clear before he could get his shot away.
Lionel Messi almost set Munir El Haddadi up for the opening goal 20 minutes in when the Argentine floated the ball forward for the teenager, but his curling effort was just high.
Barcelona appealed for a penalty shortly before the break when Munir was brought down by Carlos Gurpegui, but the referee ruled that there was no foul, leaving the sides to head into half time on level terms.
