Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona's injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's La Liga clash with Atletico Madrid.

Barcelona will be looking to make it back-to-back wins in Spain's top flight when they continue their 2020-21 campaign away to Atletico Madrid on Saturday night.

Ronald Koeman's side thumped Real Betis 5-2 before the international break to leave themselves in eighth spot in the table, having picked up 11 points from their seven La Liga games this term.

Atletico are flying high in third, though, and remain the only unbeaten side in Spain's top flight this season, which is an indication of the size of the task facing the Catalan giants this weekend.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Barca's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Diego Simeone's side at Wanda Metropolitano.

Samuel Umtiti

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: November 21 (vs. Atletico)

Samuel Umtiti, who was strongly linked with a move away from Camp Nou over the summer, is yet to feature this season due to ongoing knee problems, and he remains a major doubt for this weekend's contest.

Philippe Coutinho

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: November 21 (vs. Atletico Madrid)

Barca have been without the services of Philippe Coutinho since October 24 due to a hamstring problem, but the Brazilian has made excellent progress over the international break and could make his return against Atletico.

Ronald Araujo

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Ronald Araujo was forced off at the interval against Juventus on October 28 after picking up a hamstring problem in the first half of the European clash. Barca were subsequently without the central defender against Alaves, Dynamo Kiev and Real Betis, and the centre-back is still unavailable for selection.

Ansu Fati

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Barca are expected to be without the services of Ansu Fati for the next four months, with the exciting youngster recently undergoing surgery to address a knee issue.

Sergio Busquets

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Barca will be without the services of Sergio Busquets on Saturday due to the knee problem that the experienced midfielder picked up while on international duty with Spain. The 32-year-old is not expected to be available for selection until the early stages of December.
