Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona's injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's La Liga clash with Valencia.

Barcelona will be looking to make it three straight La Liga victories when they welcome Valencia to Camp Nou on Saturday afternoon.

The Catalan giants have struggled to show their best form in the league this season but have picked up two important wins over Levante and Real Sociedad in their last two fixtures.

Ronald Koeman's side, who are currently fifth in the table, will now be looking to end 2020 with three straight successes over Valencia, Real Valladolid and Eibar.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Barca's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Los Che, who currently sit 12th in the table with 14 points to show from their 13 matches.


Ousmane Dembele

Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: December 29 (vs. Eibar)

Barca revealed earlier this month that Ousmane Dembele had suffered another hamstring problem; the Frenchman trained with his teammates on Thursday but will not be available against Valladolid. The attacker could make his return to the field in the clash with Eibar on December 29, though.


Ansu Fati

Barca are expected to be without the services of Ansu Fati for the next two months, with the exciting youngster recently undergoing surgery to address the knee injury that he picked up in November.


Gerard Pique

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Gerard Pique had to be replaced against Atletico Madrid on November 21 after picking up an injury to his right knee, and the centre-back is facing an long period on the sidelines, having suffered medial and cruciate ligament damage.


Sergi Roberto

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: Unknown

Sergi Roberto recently tested positive for coronavirus, but the Spain international has already been ruled out for the remainder of 2020 due to a muscular problem.
