Barcelona have confirmed that midfielder Sergi Roberto suffered a hamstring tear during his side's goalless draw at Olympiacos in the Champions League last night.
The 25-year-old was forced off shortly before the break in Greece clutching his right leg, with Gerard Deulofeu coming on in his place, and now the side have confirmed that he has sustained "a fibrillar tear in the biceps femoris of his right leg".
In a statement on their website, Barca said that the Spaniard will undergo "more tests to find out the exact extent of the injury" today, with a further update expected before the weekend.
A tear suggests that Roberto could be out of action for the next few weeks, potentially ruling him out of games with Leganes, Sevilla and Juventus.
Barca's point against Olympiacos, meanwhile, put them just one point away from qualifying for the last-16 stage of the competition.
