Barcelona right-back Dani Alves has insisted that the reigning Spanish champions can bounce back and beat Athletic Bilbao in the second leg of the Supercopa de Espana.
The Catalan giants are reeling from their thrashing at the hands of Los Leones on Friday night, where Artiz Aduriz scored a hat-trick in the first leg.
However, the Brazilian full-back says that the squad will be "buzzing" to play the second leg at home and insists that 90 minutes at Camp Nou will be enough for them to turn around the result and lift the trophy.
"We'll try to come back, we'll be buzzing at home. Ninety minutes at Camp Nou is enough time for us," the 32-year-old told reporters.
"We must not look for excuses such as fatigue, a long pre-season, travelling or anything like that. No, we must improve everything. We'll try to overcome the deficit and give the best version of ourselves.
"It's not normal to concede eight goals in two games, we need to balance ourselves out, we can't do what we did in these games. We have to keep making steps forward if we want to keep winning."
Last season's treble winners are on course for the sextuple if they are able to turn the result on its head on Monday evening.
