Lionel Messi has broken Cesar Rodriguez's Barcelona record as the club's all-time top goalscorer in competitive games.
The Argentine volleyed in off the post from a deflected Isaac Cuenca cross to equal the Spaniard's total in the 17th minute of the Catalonians' game with Granada at the Nou Camp.
That goal, which made the scoreline 2-0, was the 232nd of his 314-appearance club career. Rodriguez had taken 354 games to reach the total.
He then surpassed Rodriguez's tally by netting his second of the game to put Barca in front after the visitors had fought back to level the match.
Officials at the European champions had earlier adjusted Rodriguez's total after studying club archives.
