Spanish defender Carlos Puyol has returned to first-team training with Barcelona.
The 35-year-old, who played just 22 times last season due to a persistent knee problem, took to his official Twitter account to announce the news.
"I am very happy to train on the pitch again. Making steps forward every day," Puyol tweeted.
However, he is not expected to be available for selection until September.
