Carles Puyol has reportedly withdrawn from the Barcelona squad ahead of tonight's match with Sevilla.
The centre-back, who has been out since picking up a leg injury against Levante last month, was due to make his comeback against the Rojiblancos.
However, a back problem has sidelined the 35-year-old, with Ibrahim Afellay to take his place in the squad, according to Spanish newspaper Marca.
Puyol has featured in three La Liga games for Barcelona so far this season.
