Luis Suarez and Neymar delivered the goods once again as Barcelona beat Getafe 2-0 to move level on points with La Liga leaders Real Madrid.
As Lionel Messi continues to recover from a knee injury, it was once again down to the other two members of the club's feared attacking trio to secure the win, with both Suarez and Neymar on target in a routine win.
The deadlock came close to being broken in the opening minute when Neymar drifted out wide to find Munir with a cross, but the Spaniard was unable to hit the target with his effort.
A comfortable evening could have been much more difficult had Getafe taken a great chance early in the game when Stefan Scepovic collected a chipped ball from Victor Rodriguez before firing wide on the turn.
Suarez found the opener eight minutes before the interval when Sergi Roberto flicked Neymar's cross into the path of the Uruguayan, who was left with the simple task of slotting in from close range.
Getafe enjoyed more spells in possession early in the second half, but their hopes of causing a shock were effectively over when Barcelona doubled their lead just before the hour mark.
It took a moment of magic for Getafe to be beaten for the second time as Neymar found the space to meet Roberto's inch-perfect cross with an unstoppable volley.
Vicente Guaita was given no chance to stop either of Barcelona's goals, but he did produce a superb stop to keep out Jordi Alba after the influential Neymar had released the full-back.
Getafe continued to look comfortable on the ball, but without a cutting edge to their play in the final third of the pitch, Barcelona cruised to the final whistle to keep the pressure on Rafael Benitez's side.
