Ligue 1 outfit Nice have reportedly made a club-record offer to Hatem Ben Arfa to stave off interest from a number of European clubs.
The former Newcastle United and Hull City attacker has been linked with several sides, including Barcelona and French champions Paris Saint-Germain.
However, L'Equipe claims that Nice are intent on keeping Ben Arfa, since the club's takeover by a Chinese-American consortium was confirmed last week.
It is thought that Les Aiglons have offered a €5m (£3.95m) signing-on bonus, with the player receiving €450,000 per month in wages if he agrees to stay.
Ben Arfa made his professional debut with Lyon in 2004.
