Queens Park Rangers manager Neil Warnock has denied speculation that he is lining up a bid for former Arsenal midfielder Alexander Hleb.
The Belarus international has spent the first half of the current campaign on loan with Wolfsburg. However, the German side have decided not to extend the deal and he has returned to parent club Barcelona.
Hleb, 30, has struggled with injuries this year but has recently been linked with a move to QPR as a way of regaining his fitness.
"I read that one the other day," Warnock told The Sun.
"There's no truth in it. I would struggle to say his name in the team talk!"
Hleb joined the Gunners in 2005 and spent three years at the Emirates Stadium.
