A goal from Jordan Cox has got Braintree Town back on level terms at half time against Conference Premier leaders Barnet.
The visitors had the better of the early stages, with Andy Yiadom firing a long-range effort over the crossbar, and it took just 12 minutes for the Londoners to take the lead at Cressing Road.
Curtis Weston provided the cross from a wide position and striker John Akinde made no mistake in powering home a header for his seventh goal of the season.
Moments later, Akinde went close to a second but on this occasion, his header went wide, and Braintree thought that they had an equaliser five minutes later only for the assistant to rule out Simeon Akinola's effort for offside.
However, nine minutes before the break, the home team did level things up through Cox, who found space inside the penalty area before making no mistake with his header.
