Doncaster Rovers and Barnsley have played out a 1-1 draw after 45 minutes of their Championship match this afternoon.
The hosts had chances to take the lead in the early stages, as first James Coppinger drilled wide of the post and then Abdoulaye Meite headed over from a corner.
Midway through the half Barnsley took the lead. Nick Proschwitz beat Sam Johnstone to the ball before slotting into the empty net.
Doncaster felt that they should have had a penalty soon after when James Husband went down in the box, but nothing was given.
Bongani Khumalo almost drew the hosts level, but saw his diving header saved by Luke Steele.
In the final minute of the half, the home side equalised. Steele clashed with Martin Cranie, and the loose ball dropped to Coppinger to slot home from close range.
