Barnsley defender Peter Ramage was "touched" by the reception he received on his return to Loftus Road.
Ramage spent four years at Queens Park Rangers and despite Barnsley falling to a 2-0 defeat, the defender paid tribute to the home supporters for the reception he received.
"Gutted with result and make things worse felt pop in my thigh, not the return to the Loft I was hoping for! Still we must keep believing!," Ramage posted on his Twitter account.
"Got to say tho I was really touched with reception I got from every1 at #QPR. That meant the world to me, it's a club I fell in love with!
I wish them nothing but success, I'm sure with that squad and management team they'll be back to where the whole club deserves!"
Barnsley remain rooted to the bottom of the Championship following Saturday's defeat.
