Queens Park Rangers are being held 0-0 by bottom-placed Barnsley at half time in this afternoon's Championship match at Loftus Road.
It was a slow start to the match as QPR dominated the early possession without threatening the Barnsley defence.
Richard Dunne came close to opening the scoring for the hosts on 20 minutes when he connected with Tom Carroll's corner, but his header was cleared off the line by David Perkins.
A skilful run by Paddy McCourt to beat three QPR players ended with Perkins shooting wide from distance, before Jacob Mellis's strike from distance flew over the bar.
QPR should have had the lead in the 37th minute but were denied by a double-save by Jack Butland. First Charlie Austin's close-range header was kept out before Alejandro Faurlin saw his follow-up blocked by the barnsley keeper.
Rangers dominated the closing stages of the first half but were unable to make the breakthrough.
